The Bride met Sitara in elementary school while on the playground. Sitara was standing all by herself, and the Bride walked up to her and demanded that she go down the slide with her. They’ve been friends ever since.

When they both were living with their parents after college, they would hangout at the Bride’s house, have cocktails and then drive after 9 pm to the nearby Jack in the Box to retrieve their weekly Munchie Meal. With goodies in hand, they would come back home and split it between the two of them while finishing their drinks. Both the Bride and Sitara are furious that they do not have the Munchie Meals anymore.

Sitara is the only international friend of the Bride, she moved to Helsinki for a job last year, but is kind enough to travel the long flight home to be by the Bride’s side on the ‘Big Day.’ So thankful Sitara followed her down the slide.
