“D & T” as they are referred to by friends and the serving staff at the Oaks in Lake Wildwood, met in high school. They knew of each other and had one or two classes together. They didn’t really connect until after college. The reintroduction was made by the Groom at the Grand. The Groom said he was going to meet a wine rep friend of his and the Bride tagged along. When Kadi arrived, the Bride and Kadi both said, “we went to high school together!” Ever since then, they have been close. The Bride was even present at Kadi’s first date with her husband, David. (That is another great ‘The Grand’ story!).

The two often meet up at the Grand to chat, have brunch at Shady Lady or go to a Sacramento Broadway musical together. These activities are not their favorite to do together. Their favorite is heading to Badlands with their friends and dancing the night away.

The Bride cannot imagine her life without her best friend and the only one she would want as her Second if she was ever challenged to a duel.
