Lilly is the Bride’s biological sister. Born two years, two months and nine days later. Because of the Bride’s health, both Lilly and the Bride learned to walk, talk and climb at the same time. The bound built can best be summarized by the song, “Lean On Me,” by Bill Withers.

When the Bride left for Chico State, Lilly gave her a framed picture of them both leaning on each other at the dinner table. The background was the lyrics to “Lean On Me.” The Bride has never lost that photo and just had to reframe it recently.

At Lilly’s wedding, the Bride said she couldn’t speak about her sister without sobbing, so she talked about her new brother-in-law. Same for this section of the website. That is how much her sister means to her.
